2026 Veterans Summit

The 13th Annual Veterans Summit will take place June 15-17, set in California’s iconic desert landscape in Indian Wells, California. The Summit invites participants to pause, reflect, and return renewed—grounded in the theme “Desert Muster: Refresh, Realign, Reimagine.” 

The 2026 Veterans Summit welcomes faculty, administrators and staff from California community colleges, California State Universities, Universities of California, four-year universities, statewide and national partners, and veteran serving organizations committed to supporting veterans and military connected students. Join us to connect, exchange best practices and strengthen how institutions support them through their educational journey.

Desert Muster:

Refresh, Realign, Reimagine

This year’s theme will guide discussions on:

Refresh: Supporting health and well-being of veterans and military connected students and Veterans Resource Center staff

Realign: Centered on core foundations of effective Veterans Resource Center operations

Reimagine:  Explore forward-looking approaches to veterans support services

Taking place June 15–17, 2026, at the Grand Hyatt, this event will bring together faculty, administrators, and staff to explore promising practices, policy alignment, and innovative approaches to veterans' services. The summit will emphasize well-being, operational success, and forward-thinking strategies, offering participants meaningful learning experiences, practical tools, and opportunities to collaborate with peers committed to advancing equity, access, and student success.

Registration Details 

REGISTRATION CLOSED
Cost to Attend: $125 per person

Your registration includes access to two full days of learning, professional development and connection through keynotes, breakouts sessions, and opportunities to collaborate and network with peers and partners from across the state. 

Space is limited and early registration is encouraged to ensure participation. Registration will close when capacity is reached or June 1, 2026, whichever occurs first. 

Cancellations are eligible for a refund (minus a $10 processing fee) if submitted by May 15, 2026. Participant substitutions will be accepted through June 8, 2026.
